WordPress Child Theme for Twenty Eleven: Spiky

Spiky is Rizqi Nizamil Putra’s third theme in WPCharity. This is one of awesome his work. What were the first and the second, you ask? Maybe you remember these two free WordPress child themes formerly made by him: Silver and Paper. The difference is, this Spiky theme he recently made is a WordPress child theme in premium version.

Crafting Spiky took pretty long time, it started from looking for unique concept, designing the PSD files, then we reconcile all of them together into a WordPress child theme. Since this is a premium theme, we work harder so this theme looks good in all latest WordPress theme post formats (yes, it’s the Twenty Eleven). We did distinctive styling for the post formats, e.g. the Standard, Aside, Link, Gallery, Status, Quote, Image.

Enough for the talking. Let’s thoroughly see through the theme itself!

Look at the home page. The header uses vertical ribbon and is followed by auto-arranged 3 element columns, there is a 3-columned footer and green ribbon, while the zigzag content border also beautifies the theme. All these uniqueness inspired us to name this theme “Spiky”.

p.s. Although we use food photos in the theme demo, the use of Spiky is not limited for restaurant, snack, and everyone in the food & beverages industry. It is just for the sake of raising your appetite. Hope you guys like it.
